What I Bring

Solving Energy's Hardest Problems

I work with utilities, industrial clients, and energy companies to structure deals, develop power projects, and negotiate contracts that deliver results โ€” at scale, across borders, and under pressure.

Power Project Development

End-to-end origination and development of power projects across North America and Brazil โ€” from concept through commercial operations.

Contract & Transaction Strategy

Expert in structuring large, complex transactions โ€” PPAs, utility contracts, ISDA negotiations, and commodity hedging strategies.

International Market Entry

Deep experience in emerging markets across Latin America, Europe, and beyond โ€” navigating regulatory frameworks and government relations to deliver results.

Background

A Career Built on Results

I've spent over two decades at the intersection of energy markets, strategic deal-making, and international development. My career has taken me from managing commodity portfolios for global manufacturers to building business development pipelines across North America and South America.

I led origination for fast-track, utility-scale power projects โ€” deployments that have to work the first time, in challenging environments, often under government contracts. In Brazil, I spent three years building relationships and closing deals that continue to generate value today.

I have also managed multi-hundred-million-dollar energy procurement programs spanning dozens of states and multiple countries โ€” overseeing natural gas, electricity, diesel, and biomass power while implementing hedging strategies and achieving complex regulatory certifications.

My commodity experience extends to coal procurement across North America, Colombia, and Indonesia, as well as contracting for and managing natural gas pipeline agreements in North America and Australia. In addition, I have managed and negotiated rail transportation contracts and overseen rail car purchases to support large-scale fuel supply chains.
